This guy was born on 11/25/2020. He is on the bigger side & is estimated to be around 80lbs when he's fully grown. He is being raised with both small & older children, as well as with other animals, including cats & does exceptional will all!

Batman is a very laid back puppy that loves to cuddle & chill! He responds well to everyone he is around & has yet to meet a stranger. He is exceptionally calm considering his age & what he is! He has a very passive temperament & is quite the cuddler! He loves people, water & going for car rides (even though he sleeps most of the ride).

He is fully litter trained & doing excellent with outdoor potty training! He is well socialized & is expected to have an excellent temperament & disposition, as he comes from service lines that have been bred specifically for temperament.

What is a Sheepadoodle & why are they bred?

The Sheepadoodle is the cross between 2, already amazing & highly sought after Breeds, the Standard Poodle & Old English Sheepdog.

The Sheepadoodle's originated in the US, as the US Army developed this breed in the 1960's for military police dogs. Today they are generally bred for achieving intelligent, well tempered & happy dogs, that greatly excel in trainability & friendliness, while producing an allergy friendly coat & having the well known, happy go lucky & goofy personality. The Sheepadoodles are often used for service & therapy dogs, but also make wonderful family pets & single person companions.  

These amazing dogs are well known for being socially friendly, able to adapt to most environments or settings with happiness & ease and being very easily trained.

They are said to be an ideal success for first time dog owners, as well as for growing families, because they are so easily trained, very adaptable to all environments & fair tempered.

What makes them a good dog to have?

Sheepadoodle's are highly intelligent, very loyal, easily trained & make wonderful family dogs. They are often used as Service, Emotional Support & Therapy Dogs due their level of intelligence, friendliness & happy and silly disposition.  They are a medium to large sized dog, maxing out at between 80 & 100Lbs, with average size being 55-65lbs for females & 60-75lbs for males. They a moderate energy level making them suitable for apartment/condo or wide open space, living arrangements. They do not normally have issues that need a professional trainer to step in, however a professional trainer is important with any breed for specialized specific training such as that for service dogs. In a nutshell, the Sheepadoodle is an amazing hybrid breed that suites the majority of lifestyles exceptionally well! They go with the flow of pretty much everything imaginable & tolerate it with happiness & ease, making them ideal for almost anyone. They are also classified as hypoallergenic & non shedding!

FUN FACT: Sheepadoodle's are one of the most sought after of the Doodle Hybrid Breeds due to their social friendliness & happy and silly demeanor. They are often referred to as the Clown of the bigger doodles.

Are they classified as Hypoallergenic?

Yes, they are also classified as non-shedding!

Do they bark alot?

All dogs bark, or at least make some type of noise (there is a breed that does not actually bark, but this is not it). Sheepadoodle's are typically not "barkers". This means they do not just sit & bark to hear themselves bark! However, they will bark if they hear or see something strange, when they are playing & sometimes to let you know there is something they want. All in all, they are a pretty quiet breed!

What is a Pointer Doodle & why are they bred?

A Pointer Doodle is a hybrid cross that includes 2 amazingly intelligent breeds, the German Wirehaired Pointer & Standard Poodle.

​

The Pointer Doodles are bred for both their coats & temperament. The Standard Poodle is well known for its curly, non-shedding, hypoallergenic, high maintenance coat. The German Wirehaired Pointer is less known due to often being used as a hunting dog, however it is well known for its wiry, non-shedding, water resistant, hypoallergenic, low maintenance coat. The hybrid cross between the two breeds make an amazing, minimal maintenance, non-shedding, beautiful, hypoallergenic coat that is especially friendly to those with severe allergies!

​

Both breeds are well known for their high intelligence, working & hunting capabilities, excellent temperament & demeanor & exceptionally laid back disposition, while still possessing excellent guard & watch dog skills to protect what they consider as theirs. All while being a social butterfly & highly excelling in social settings.

What makes them a good dog to have?

Besides being one of only two of the most allergy friendly dog breeds available & having an amazing coat that still looks amazing with minimal maintenance, they are very versatile when it comes to adapting to different environments & jobs, being able to excel in a very wide variation of both.

These dogs excel in all training aspects & have been known as excellent companions, service dogs, emotional support/therapy dogs, watch & guard dogs, as well as excellent hunting & gun dogs. This means whatever area they are trained in, they greatly excel at.

Last, but certainly not least, these dogs do amazingly well with children & possess a very passive & gentle temperament towards them, while also not backing away from loud noises & roughhousing - making them excellent for children with special needs, especially thos that other pets tend to avoid.

Are they classified as Hypoallergenic?

Yes! Due to both breeds being classified as hypoallergenic, rather than just one as with most of the doodle hybrid's, they are actually considered as one of only two, of the most allergy friendly doodles available, along with the Sheepadoodle.
